I did not feel well at all yesterday, I got sick several times, and could not hold anything down. They setup a vet appointment for me, man I hate going to the vet. Dad tried to get me to come inside last night, but I thought it better to sleep outside. He came out side and tried to give me a little bit of water, but I was not interested. He wet my nose and sat outside with me for a bit till the bugs drove him inside. Sometimes its good to have fur!

This morning I played a trick on Dad. He got up early and checked on me, and I was still under the window. He knocked on the window but I would not move. Then dad ran outside to see if I was ok, but I was not there. He was so confused it was great. Mom found saw me laying in the grass, and dad ran over to check on me a bit relieved but confused. Dad soon found that I was not there either, for I had passed a few hours earlier.

Dad and mom broke down out side, and then had the toughest job so far. They had to break the news of my death to the biped puppies. They broke the news and all of them broke down. Josh came out and pet me one more time. They had a small service for me a few hours later, it was very sweet. Dad threw in my squeakie toy, Meagan wrote me a great letter about all the things we did.

Mom, Dad and the biped puppies were a great family, and I enjoyed my time with them. I proved to Mom and Dad that they would be great parents. I showed Josh what a furry friend could be, and how to handle loss. I proved to Meagan that dogs are great pets, and can be just as loving as a cat. She like the others are Learning how to handle loss.

This is my last blog, as I have other things to do now. Dad will have get off his rump and start his own now.

Rocket Launch.

Dad has been working with the biped puppies over the last week helping them make some small model rockets. Well today dad and mom packed up the rockets the kids and even me and we went to fly them. Meagan and Josh had their rocket land close by, and was able to run and get it. Mom's rocket she called "Big Mama" landed a few houses down. Dad few his rocket and landed each of them a few houses away. One of them they never found.

We all had fun, but I think it was a bit much for me, I don't feel so well, and am a very tired pup.

Mothers Day

For Moms special day, Mom wanted to go Pinnacle Mountain for the day. I stayed at home and Mom and Dad took the biped puppies to go and climb up the 1,011 foot mountain. Mom made it most of the way, but started to get a migraine near the top. She found a nice warm spot in the sun and rested while Dad took the biped puppies to the top. Dad took lots of pictures and you can find them on our picture page (link on the right)

On the way home the stopped and picked up some steaks, and Dad grilled Mom a great Mothers Day dinner. This was the best part of the day, because I got the scraps!

Now we will just see how sore they are in the morning.

Wow...

Dad and Mom picked up the biped puppies and then went to get groceries. They stopped and got a bite to eat (and did not bring me anything back). However they came back talking to the kids about parenting.

Evidently there were two couples in the restaurant who was letting their kids run a bit wild. One kid was running laps in the restaurant, Dad resisted the urge to trip the kid as he ran by.

The other kid, while technically in his seat, was allowed to to stand in his chair and bounce up and down while screaming at the top of his lungs. While the parents had apparently evolved the ability to tune him out, the rest of the patrons and staff had not. The dad would tell the child to sit down and cut it out, but due to the fact he never followed through, the child would return to his actions.

The biped puppies brought up the fact that would have been in a bunch of trouble if they had acted that way. Mom then explained that as parents it is our job to ensure that their actions do not get to that point. Dad further explained if two adults have two kids, and each kid runs out in the street after being told not to. Each adult then explains to their own child the dangers of running out into the street, but they do it again. One adult spanks his child, while the other talks to the child again. Mom then asked what child was more likely to run out in the street. Each child answered that the child who did not get a spanking.

The kids then understood that some times parents need to be well.... parents.

This is what Dad wanted to do...

Weekend Recap.

The weekend started a bit early, as dad took off for an Dr Apt on Friday. When the biped puppies got out of school mom and dad picked them up and took them to see the movie "Iron Man". They each said that it was the best movie they had seen in a while, even Mom and Meagan enjoyed it proving it is just not a guys flick.

Saturday Mom went down with a migraine, and then Dad started to get one when he and the bi-puppies were out to get a bite for lunch. Dad waited out the vision issues in the parking lot, then drove home with the lunch. They ate lunch then I watched the puppies while Dad slept off the migraine on the couch and mom went back to bed. Dad was ok by late afternoon, but just sore.

Sunday Mom was still down, so Dad took Josh and Meagan over to Granny and Grandpa's house for the afternoon to play with Ethan and Emma. They had a blast.

Dad now has some catching up to do on outside work now with the yard, garden, and pond duties stacking up. Maybe he will work on them today after work, so I can sit on the porch and watch. I will keep my paws crossed.
