Update on Mom.

Let me catch my loyal readers up on mom’s headache news. Last week or so mom and dad faxed the last three years of mom’s medical records to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Well they called and said that “They could not do any thing for her that her current neurologist isn’t doing”. On one paw it was nice to see a clinic who could tell you up front, instead of just taking your money only to tell you after the fact, but on the other paw they were crushed.

Things looked up a bit last night when one of dads friends passed some information to his a dad, a Dr up in North East Arkansas. Well this Dr called last night, and talked to Kim for around an hour or so. The longest any Dr has ever talked to her! I can’t tell you what all he told her, as I kept dozing off, but he did say something that I heard mom tell dad. If you hear a gallop, you turn to see the horse. If you don’t see horse you look for something else. He said a lot of Doctors nowadays don’t look for the something else.

He gave her a list of tests and other things to talk to her doctors about. Kim is now very excited as she has something to work towards again.
