Blue Eyes

We had some excitement last weekend. Dad got up early Saturday and fed me breakfast, then took the puppies and mom out for breakfast. When they got back the neighbor dogs and I were at the fence, barking fiercely. Dad knew something was up so he asked everyone to stay in the truck. Dad then saw the blue eyed husky that was running up and down the fence just taunting me. Mom ran in the house and got her a treat, and dad lured her in the back of the truck and then shut it up.

Dad and the family then took her to a neighbor’s house over a couple of street they knew had huskies, but he was not home. Knowing they could not keep her in the back of the truck, they brought me in and put her in MY back yard!

She ended up jumping the fence and mom and dad tracked her down, and brought her back into the back of the truck. This time they drove to Wal-Mart and got a harness and a runner to keep her on in the back. They still kept me in the house because they knew I could take her.

The neighbor came and got her that night, and was ever so grateful. According to him, huskies can run about 100 miles in a day, so he was surprised mom and dad got her. Mom and dad are so good with dogs, it did not surprise me. Now I need to go out and continue remarking all of my territory.
